North Carolina Merfest 2015 Commercial Spot

This commercial spot was the second mermaid-oriented convention in the US. Held at the Triangle Aquatic Center, the convention provided a space for mermaid/pirate-themed performers and enthusiasts to come together as a community, participate in underwater photoshoots, refine their craft through workshops, sell merch, demo new products, enjoy a mermaid-themed fashion show, and entertain children at the event. I art-directed all collateral for this event, including the video spot below. The event was held annually (2014 and 2015), which inspired subsequent events Mermaina and MerMagicCon. The footage below was taken from the first Merfest in 2014, along with promotional photos from the attending performers.
